The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
