The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Group

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of characters, and a gripping narrative showcasing divine entities, evil spirits, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Key plot points for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and introduced the initial group of adventurers who will branch out from the main group to begin their separate journey, apart from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor (played by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

Considering 13 cast members, it was clear from the outset that maintaining everyone at one table would be unworkable.

Hence, the initial installments of this story serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before branching into three separate parties: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

As described by the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the actions of the third episode show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the team knows exactly where to proceed after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the story’s plot—exploited the foes for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The antagonist then settled his obligations and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and trusted friend, desires vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and warns that it is a dangerous location.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • But, their position as important members in the powerful family could enable the team enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his salvation and will now follow him everywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The healer turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This leaves them little choice but to travel to Timmony in pursuit of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

According to the latest episode’s Cooldown, we learn that the combat party will not appear next week, leaving the other eight players to form the Questers and Strategists groups.

Audiences can expect finding out which characters will be where in the story’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on next week.
